Endowment and Special Gifts

The Endowment and Special Gifts Charter for Cornerstone United Methodist Church has been approved by Church Conference on May 8, 2007.
 
 
The purpose in the formation of the Cornerstone UMC Endowment and Special Gifts Charter is to provide members and friends the opportunity to make charitable gifts to Cornerstone Church that would provide either a permanent endowment of financial support or the establishment of a special gift.  Such a tool will open the way for many to choose Cornerstone UMC when seeking to leave a lasting legacy of faith that will impact generations to come for the kingdom of God.
 
 
Copies of the charter are available in the Welcome Center, church office, and on our website. This coming fall we will host an Estate and Gift Planning Workshop to help individuals apply the opportunities this Charter affords as well as introduce potential strategies that can be adopted in estate planning.
