Cornerstone Church is located at the corner of Gallia and Offnere Streets in downtown Portsmouth, Ohio.  We are a few blocks north of the campus of Shawnee State University and a few blocks east of the downtown business district.  Cornerstone is a United Methodist congregation of about 600 members; large enough to have a lot to offer, but small enough to be personal.  Portsmouth is located along the Ohio River, between Shawnee State Forest and Wayne National Forest.

On these pages you will learn of the many programs and ministries Cornerstone has to offer her members and the community.  But programs and ministries are not the best part of any church.  The best part of Cornerstone is the presence of Jesus Christ here with us, and the great people who gather here in His name.  We hope these pages will give you a feel for the spirit that is here at Cornerstone.  It is that spirit that we identify with, and want to share above all else.
